    “Made in China

The Danish Post has purchased thousands of postal containers, pallets and letter cages in China.

Among the new and modern equipments installed around the country’s distribution centres there are 2,000 new containers and 8,000 cages that have the advantage of being foldable. This are specially designed and produced for Danish Post in a factory in China that belongs to the Swedish group COWIN GLOBAL. In connection with this order the Danish Post has saved money and at the same time received new and improved equipment.

    - By buying in China we have secured a better price then if we would have bought in Denmark. We have at the same time had the possibility to influence the design and development of the products so that they are easier to use than the ones we usually use. The results are good standard containers that will gradually replace our old ones around distribution centres, says Karsten F. Hansen, logistics manager.

In October 2007, the Danish Post sent 2 colleagues to the factory in China in order to secure high quality on the products.

    - Our colleagues worked together with COWIN GLOBAL for the development of the cages and the small errors we could find were quickly addressed and corrected by them. Of course there had been a few small things that could have been done better from the beginning. But there is no new collaboration without some compromises. We are altogether very satisfied with our collaboration with COWIN GLOBAL and we will certainly place more orders with them when we need more containers, concludes Karsten F. Hansen.

    “Quality Everywhere

COWIN GLOBAL attracts and retains both customers and employees by focusing on working conditions and on the environment protection. COWIN GLOBAL has developed such a mindset and philosophy that will put them at the forefront in these matters.

Made in China used to mean cheap products with low quality produced under bad conditions. That was something that COWIN GLOBAL wanted to change when they started their production in China. COWIN GLOBAL will live up to all the western customers expectations regarding quality and working conditions. COWIN GLOBAL doesn’t want to offer the lowest price but they want to offer the best overall solution.
